Hi, I would like to introduce myself. My name is David and as a father and printer and married to a graphic designer, we have always enjoyed creating cards for our special occasions.

After the birth of our first born Aaron, and as very proud parents we decided to create a special baby thank you card combining our skills, and with the added advantage of having the knowledge to produce the baby photo card, customise it with our new arrivals photo and produce a small run on our digital printer.

After spending several nights writing personalised notes in our cards we duely sent these off and to our amazement the reaction to our effort from friends and family was overwhelming to the extent that several of our friends wanted a piece of the action requesting personalised baby announcement and thank you cards so that they could show off their bundles of joy and to show their appreciation for baby gifts.

All this happened in 2001 and as the overwhelming response continued and on the birth of our second son Jacob we decided to expand on our great idea by introducing personalised cards for other occasions such as birthdays and christening. At this point we decided to take our ideas seriously, the first step being the production of a website which would allow parents to produce baby thank you cards, announcement cards, christening invitations, and birthday invitations in a way which allowed the complete novice to produce fantastic results quickly.

Between us we have produced our own special designs that you can adapt to your own personal needs. We think we have covered most occasions and messages that you should require, however if we have missed any feel free to drop us a line on info@babycards.net.au.
